Frequently Asked Questions
Does Divi Image Masks Pro work with Divi 5?
Yes. The module is built natively for Divi 5's module framework (Divi Builder 5.x) and requires it to be active.
Do I need to write any CSS or code?
No. Every option — shape, outline, shadow, overlay, hover effect — is controlled from the Divi Visual Builder panel.
Will the masks stay sharp on retina screens?
Yes. Every shape is a vector SVG mask, not a bitmap, so it scales to any resolution without pixelation.
Can I combine a mask with Divi's border and box-shadow panels?
Divi's standard Border and Box Shadow panels apply to the rectangular module box. For a border or shadow that follows the mask's shape instead, use the module's own Mask Outline and Shape Shadow options in the Design tab.
Does rotating or flipping the mask distort my photo?
No. Rotation and flip are applied to the mask stencil only — the photo underneath always stays upright and undistorted.
Is the module accessible?
Yes. Decorative layers are marked aria-hidden, and all transitions and animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
